Write a poem including ‘twist and turn’

Twist and shout
Call out to the fading sunlight
Stay one moment more
So this day with never end

Leap and laugh
Run up to the rounded hilltop
Hold one last ray
So this sky will never pale

Creep and whisper
Roll down the hill to the misting valley
Not one moment more
So this night can now begin

Twist and Turn
try to see over her shoulder

Squirm and slide
duck my head under her arm

Kick out sharply
push away with feet flailing

Scream and bite
lunge for the side

She strokes my hair
ignores my shrieking

Tries to calm me
calls out for help

My tears mix with spittle
I collapse on her breast

Knees scrape the asphalt
blood stains my dress

Twist and turn
the truck in our headlights

After the impact
nothing is left.

First line — ‘skimply wingle wangly woo’

Skimply wingle wangly woo
I’m off my face, how about you?

by Michele deBes

Skimply wingle wangly woo
Otto the otter stood in some poo.
He wrote a letter of protest to the paper
Advising that no one should repeat the caper.

All agreed it was out of the question
To risk another effluent ejection,
So they made it a crime to poo anymore
And everyone died from impacted spoor.
