‘Erotic Exercise’

Wysteria
Played the piano wildly
Repeating the phrase

She watched her husband’s face disappear with the back of the bus.

“He’s gone. He’s finally gone.” She said, repeating the phrase like a mantra as she made her way back in her car. When she reached home she went straight to her study and played the piano wildly, confident at last there was no one to complain. When she had pounded out a medley of Rogers and Hammastien she put a video on. She had bought it specially for this day. The Women of Wisteria Lane, a romantic comedy.

Ah Bliss. She cracked a bottle of champers and settled back to enjoy.

First there was Slush. then the splinter group: Slash. Occasionally the two reform as Slush Slash Slosh—which usually doesn’t last very long.

But now, a new sect may be emerging, and authorities are concerned. This new splinter group, let’s call it Slesh..because it rhymes with Flesh..may be participating in dark and lewd acts of writing.

Internet scans have yet to reveal their secrets, but authorities are watching regular gatherings of Slush Slash Slosh and fingering those who are regularly absent as suspects.

Two names have emerged time and time again, and soon the Department may need to bring these suspects in for Special questioning.
